Lawyers Profile: Lloyd E. Bennett
Lloyd Bennett is the principal owner and founder of Lloyd E. Bennett, Esq., P.C. which has been located in Hudson County, N.J. since inception. He has been practicing law in New Jersey since 1987. He has always represented clients injured in accidents and never represents the insurance companies. He also represents families and businesses in a variety of immigration matters.
Lloyd is actively involved on the board of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has served as its treasurer since 2007. For the past several years he has taken the fight for comprehensive immigration reform to Washington, D.C. where he lobbied for change on behalf of the American Immigration Lawyers Association with the Representatives from New Jersey.
Lloyd was recognized by his peers and included in the list of Super Lawyers in 2008 and 2009.
Lloyd is a 1987 graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, N.J. He also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College in 1984. He is the third generation of attorney practicing law in New Jersey. His grandfather and father were well respected attorneys in the community they served.

Michelle Lago
Michelle Lago, Esq. has been a member of the firm since 2007. She concentrates her practice in the area of immigration and naturalization law and divorce. Her experience covers a broad range of family and employment based immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions. She was admitted to the New Jersey bar after graduating from Seton Hall Law School in 2005. Following law school, Michelle was a clerk to a Judge in the Superior Court of New Jersey who concentrated in family law matters. Currently, she routinely appears before immigration officers, deportation officers and Judges on behalf of the firm's clients and has obtained immigration benefits for many clients of the firm.
