Fees and Costs

There is never a consultation fee collected by the New Jersey auto accident lawyer Lloyd Bennett, Esq., P.C.. For all New Jersey accident cases except workers compensation and social security disability New Jersey Court rules allow a legal fee 33 1/3% for the first $500,000 recovered (25% for minors under 18) plus costs and reduced thereafter. For workers compensation, the fees are determined by the Judge but they are usually a total of 20% of the award. However only 10% is paid from the award, the balance is paid by the insurance company. Social Security fees are also decided by the Judge and vary.

If there is no recovery there is never an attorney fee owed.
