Last week, the appellate court heard oral arguments regarding the future of DACA. The following are three main takeaways you should keep in mind in regards to DACA.
- Only oral arguments were heard by the court. A decision on DACA is expected to come out in the following weeks or even months.
- You can still renew your DACA application. Renewals are still being processed, however new applications are not currently being accepted.
- This decision may take DACA away altogether. If you have any kind of relief through family members or through a green card eligibility category you should get in touch with an attorney before you lose status.
